Twique
India
Twique was conceived to solve a fundamental gap in service businesses: payments happen, but customer experience data, loyalty, and insights are lost. The client wanted a lightweight, app-less system where customers could pay, give feedback, and earn rewards in seconds, while businesses gained clarity on performance, uplift revenue, and customer satisfaction. Propelius partnered as the end-to-end product and engineering team, shaping architecture, payment logic, loyalty mechanics, and compliance-heavy settlement flows while keeping the experience frictionless for customers and scalable for businesses.

Problem Statement
Twique’s biggest challenge lay in executing a compliance-heavy payment split model. Cashfree Easy Split required manual enablement, KYC validation, and prolonged coordination, significantly impacting timelines. Any miscalculation in PG fees, commission deduction, or settlement logic could break payouts. Additionally, designing loyalty points and coupons required careful handling of tier multipliers, monthly caps, abuse prevention, and expiry logic. Google Reviews posed another hurdle due to the lack of direct review-posting APIs.
Solutions
We implemented a backend-controlled, auditable settlement engine where PG fees, Twique’s commission, and provider payouts are calculated deterministically. A rule-driven loyalty engine was built to handle multipliers, caps, and edge cases reliably. For reviews, we designed a sentiment-routing flow—happy users are nudged to Google with prefilled text, while unhappy feedback stays private. This balanced compliance, UX, and growth without violating platform policies.

Technical Architecture
Dr. Bhavin Shah came to Propelius with a simple but powerful idea: payments in service businesses had become boring, transactional, and disconnected from customer experience. There was no natural way to capture feedback, no meaningful incentive for customers, and no clarity for businesses beyond “payment successful.” His vision was to transform the post-service payment moment into something more human—where customers could quickly share how they felt, choose fair pricing, and receive instant rewards, all without apps, logins, or friction. Propelius executed this vision end-to-end by designing and engineering Twique as a seamless infrastructure layer. We translated the idea into a scalable product—handling complex payment splits, loyalty logic, and compliance—while keeping the customer experience simple and fast. The result is Twique: a smarter, experience-driven payment platform built to help service businesses grow with clarity, trust, and loyalty.
